Can servers bought here be self sufficient to the most part? (possible?)

I'm curious, haven't owned a server for a few years and am wondering, are there servers in the market that are being sold in which doesn't need reramping, etc?

Every past server I had needed sooo much rework to fit and work, so what do you think is needed these days? Oh yeah if anyone has advice which is the best budget server type for someone who isn't the most experienced, that'd be much appreciated.

I guess I ask a confusing question, but I'm really busy and don't want to have to revamp things atleast to the extent I remember having to (just want to build a small community), so I want to see if servers sold these days can pretty much be ready to go (thinking about getting a budget copy of a server for starters=)

From my own personal experience servers are petty hard to grow if your not paying for ads. Years ago seemed a better time to start out. (Makes sense, as most games lose players over time). Unless you have something unique or some popular server type, it will likely be very slow. If i were looking to start another server i would likely look for one with a player base already, if i had the money to spare.
