Can there be a "Registered Company" membership for verified, registered companies?

As an upgrade to "Business Account", I would suggest that there should be some distinction between an actual, registered, legal, entity and some kid's crappy ass "company".

This can actually give forum users some level of trust and assurance as to whether the people they are buying from are actually doing things properly, or just calling themselves a company.

Of course to achieve this, they would have to show some sort of proof that their company is actually registered.

Spending $150 on registering your company's name isn't exactly the most reliable form of gaining trust.... no. It took me 10 minutes to register Squid INK LLC awhile back.

Companies are more heavily regulated in most places, so I trust companies more personally. There's a lot more chance of me being scammed by a person than a company.

There are no plans to require proper company registration for business accounts. We purposefully decided against calling them company accounts because that's not really the point of them. In the future maybe we could look into proper company registration as a part of Bosny's hosting update suggestion from a few months back.
