Yes, it is. In fact, not only is making people pay F&F scummy, but if they chargeback through bank you cannot fight it because you pretended they were your family. If you are the buyer, the only way to chargeback and actually win is pretend it wasn't you who made the purchase, but calling your bank and just saying "I didn't do this" basically gets the money back and the seller can't even dispute it.
