Can you make money off servers anymore?

With the EULA prohibiting sale of pretty much anything other than cosmetics and things that affect everyone, is it even possible to make a reliable income off a server anymore?

I'm never going to make one but I'm a fan of a few servers that would perform a lot better with reasonable monetisation.

server's can make a lot of profit if you make them correctly. the only servers that really follow the eula are the large ones (mineplex, hypixel, cubecraft etc..). don't think that Mojang have been taking any server's down recently.

It was never allowed to sell advantages, so it not being allowed now could not be a possible reason that making profit wouldn't be possible.
People just never cared about it not being allowed, and people still don't care.

But to answer your contradicting question, yes, it's very much still possible to make (a lot) of money.

Only big servers kind of follow the EULA rules.. and most other servers dont really give a shit and make banks from it.
