Hello there, actually i cannot use MCM on my phone because anything im doing ends with a popup giving me an error and an "Ray ID" i think this issue is caused by cloudflare, also this bug makes it impossible to write any kind of message on the smartphone (Chrome).

CloudFlare is very stupid choice of DDoS protection its far from professional.
There are better companys like Sucuri. Yeah its 20$ but it acts like load balancer by it self, if MCM is using Amazon they should try CloudFront.
Its always easy to use CloudFlare .
Easy is not the best at least from my point of view and for me.

Can you clarify why Sucuri is better over Cloudflare?
Saying Cloudflare isn't "professional" is quite a blatant statement. They host fairly large companies and networks(DigitalOcean, Curse, Gyazo, Buycraft, etc).

MC-Market actually already uses Cloudfront. Cloudfront isn't DDoS protection. It's just a front end webserver service managed by Amazon. In MCM's case, it most likely just sits behind Cloudflare.
The size and strength of Sucuri's network isn't even 1/10 of Cloudflare's so I'm not sure why you're even suggesting them. Additionally, I'm not even sure if they provide DNS Management? Cloudflare has a very powerful DNS Service and that's good to have since DNS based attacks are becoming more common.

Sucuri is not CDN like CloudFlare isn't too, people call that CDN but CDN is something else purpose of CloudFlare is not CDN, CloudFlare is free and you won't get that sort of protection with CloudFlare, Sucuri Web Application Firewall is one of the best, you can add multiple pull servers without paying addational, it acts like load balancer by it self.
Its made for advanced users, most of users don't even know what half of CloudFlare options are made for if you get the point

CloudFront is Content Delivery Network, it hosts same site on x servers, and that makes latency lower and site loading speed faster, if one server dies other ones are working.
CloudFlare is same thing like that but its not calrified as 100% CDN its reverse proxy.

People just add their sites to CloudFlare, CloudFlare is not so good for every website, i tested that 2, Sucuri performed better and yes their network performance is same like CloudFlare one.
@
CouldFlare is a CDN (Content Delivery Network) as they specify on their site (https://www.cloudflare.com/cdn/), they are also a proxy for websites which allow them to provide a level of protection on websites.

Before going on a rant please do some research before you go onto a rant that makes you look very stupid:
https://www.cloudflare.com/performance/
https://www.cloudflare.com/security/
https://www.cloudflare.com/reliability/

There is a reason why many people use CloudFlare such as Anvil Node may use ( Ajdin )

It's nice to know that, any system administrator would use it if they can configure it correctly otherwise they hate it.

Such example of people using ClouFlare; Buycraft, Discord, Curse & Hypixel to name a few.
Check out how many people who trust them: https://www.cloudflare.com/case-studies/

CloudFlare is nice boost but it doesn't work that good with every site, and its not security that i need, i need nice WAF but CloudFlare doesn't provide that.

tbh what BeBonsy said above sums up your point on this as CloudFlare is not what you think it is :D

As far as i know its company that brings you security, and speed ups your site with static caching of files.
Their cdn is basically a distributed reverse proxy. Its not like other cdn (bunnycdn,cloudfront,maxcdn...,akamai)

Not a CDN huh, you should get them for false advertising then as they promote it on their site as they definitely don't speed up websites by placing their IP above your website's connecting it to a CDN to load websites faster.

Thank you for your amazing words on why never to use CloudFlare

Well, this is not typical CDN, this is reverse proxy, proxy server that servers content from more servers, while when you use typical CDN you pull files directly from your closest server without that reverse proxy.
Its hard to explain considering that English is not my main language.[DOUBLEPOST=1507466762][/DOUBLEPOST]Example of a real "traditional" CDN: http://cdn.wolvesnet.xyz/i/849d3258-dedd-4c9c-95b7-f590cebca5e2.png

You're still clueless.

I'm assuming because of your English, you're not capable of reading their website properly. This might also affect your capabilities of setting up Cloudflare properly because it's not easy as you claim it to be. It's different for each website and the page rules are a very important tool. In fact, with the free version you can't even setup sufficient page rules to make a website work as efficient as possible so that's that.

They do ACTUALLY store files on their edge servers. The reason for your slower loading speeds? You don't have your Cloudflare page rules setup properly. On all static content, you should turn off features such as security, firewall, etc. You should also ensure that you have long TTL's set.

You also haven't mentioned their DNS service not even once. They have the strongest DNS network in the world, no doubt. That's why the largest Minecraft servers AND DigitalOcean (Which processes millions of DNS requests every second) use Cloudflare.

Not sure if you knew but I used to run MC-Market meaning I was also responsible for the servers and loading speeds of the site. I've tried several options with this specific website: Sucuri(Was the worst of all in terms of speed, setup and reliability), MaxCDN, Cloudflare and InterNAP CDN. I usually just stick with Amazon and Google Cloud for large traffic sites but due to budget limitations, I had to look for alternative solutions. At the end of the day, Cloudflare easily outperformed every single service. At one point, the current owner of MC-Market stepped away from Cloudflare and went directly on Amazon's Cloudfront. Guess what happened? Endless amount of issues with DDoS attacks and the site simply not being capable of handling traffic. Guess what resolved it? Cloudflare.

Pack your bags and stop talking here. At one point you'll have to admit you're wrong. Otherwise multibillion dollar platforms wouldn't be using Cloudflare if it was "bad" as you claim it to be.

I also noticed you have illuminati speech playing on your portfolio site(which is a joke in my opinion as you clearly lack technical knowledge to call yourself a competent system administrator). In that case, you should definitely know the importance of Cloudflare for a more secure and open internet.

You can have your opinion. What isn't okay is blatantly lying about a certain product on a suggestion thread.

Unfortunately this was an issue that wasn't addressed, but if anyone is still experiencing it please create a support request so that it can be looked into.

I'll move this to the bug reports archive, thanks.
