Can't add non-staff members to conversations?

Hey,

I can't add non-staff members to conversations?

Been told by Ivain that if you didn't start a conversation you can't add other people other than Staff but if you create a conversation, you can add anyone. I think you should be able to add anyone regardless of whether you started the conversation or not.

Then thats not surprising, only the person who started the convo can add people, as far as I know.

When you create a conversation, you have the option to allow the members of the conversation to add people or not.
There's a little checkbox.
It defaults to unchecked, meaning you'll have to check the box when you create a conversation if you want them to be able to invite others.

So essentially, it is up to the conversation starter whether or not the members can add others.

Ah right I understand. Maybe it should be checked defaultly.
