Title says it all. You can't leave dispute conversations but can be added by nonstaff members.

Make it so only the two main parties can't leave the conversation but others can.

To be quite fair, you shouldn't be added to the suggestion in the first place as you are non-staff. The alternative suggestion, which would be much better in my opinion, would be disabling the ability to invite others to the dispute.

We don't plan on fixing such a minor and fringe issue on our XF1 site given that we're moving to XF2 relatively soon. On our XenForo 2 site we'll be switching the way that feedback disputes work entirely so that they'll no longer be managed through conversations and instead be tickets that include multiple users.

I'll move this to the bug report archives, thank you
