Can't play Fortnite fullscreen ($5 if you solve)

So basically, whenever I go into fortnite fullscreen when something intense happens like shooting or building my pc freezes, it's fine in windowed mode just full screen. $5 if you help me.

I have:
Installed latest gpu drivers
Reinstalled fortnite

The problem is freezing not a the taskbar

Have you tried playing in windowed fullscreen? It's a lot easier and quicker to alt+tab

enable full screen in game settings Programs/Fortnite/FortniteGame and then locate the UserGame config and change it via there follow this guide but change it to whatever resolution you want but fullscreen 1920x1080

I don't think you are understanding what is going wrong for him, his game freezes in fullscreen, it is nothing to do with the resolution.

Go into settings and make sure that you are on fullscreen or windowed fullscreen.

If not re-install the game and try that again, if it crashes then try contacting Epic support and they should be able to help.
