Hello,
So tomorrow is Memorial day and I was going to go out with family to eat or drive around places we can spend time at. We were going to use my car since I've recently got it and wanted to get use to the stiff clutch since It's very different compared to other vehicles but it is a mustang so it makes sense to have a stiff clutch.
I've been washing the car and I've taken before and after pictures. I've started my car at around 3 PM and finished around 6 PM so a solid 3 hours of washing my car really did a good shine and made my car look even nicer then before.
I've wanted to wash my car because when I bought it the dealer only soaked it in soap and that's not really how you take care of a car. You have to wash it about 2-3 times. Clay bar it, Wax it, Glass cleaner, Darker Tires and you have to be very gental and make sure you go all around the car when you do it.
Most people go to car washes now and I really dislike car washes, Of course it takes 5 min out of your day but it does not help the paint / clear coat on your car. Your car has 3 layers protecting the paint on your car and damage the clear cat (top layer) will place scratches and damage your car and won't look as nice, Plus you get to know more about your car when you clean it yourself and get a good connection if you actually care about your car and take care of it.
I've taken before and after pictures of the car. You may know a difference. If not, Camera quality is not always something to rely on but I can assure you there is definitely a difference
After Is when you can see a bit of a shine but again camera can not really catch it but I can see a bit of difference but irl you can definitely see a difference
The car looks great and washing it 3 times with soap and water, Waxing, Using a clay bar, Drying, Using glass cleaner, Using Darker tire materials and a bit of
vacuuming the car looks amazing. Here are the materials I used if anyone would like to know what to use for there cars
NOTE: I did not use Windex on my car, In there is dish soap and water. It allows me to scrub the clay bar all over the car nice and smooth without leaving marks. It helps get rid of any extra materials left on the car.
You also DO NOT want to use regular towels or paper, t-shirts. etc
You want to use Micro-phobic towels. It's very soft and it grips dirt into it and does not damage the paint on your car.
P.S I do not care if my license plate is showing. Nothing like that really bothers me. Could care less if you know where I live since everyone knows my address, state and city. It's all on my Membership card on here.
Thanks for reading !
