Half the things you learn in science could be used in real life, more so if you're going in to the medical field. Being more knowledgeable about your country and it's past can never harm you. Other things like foreign language, although doesn't teach you much, allows you to uphold a simple conversation. That part about taxes and tasks you'll need to know after you graduate should be implemented..

Foreign language also provides another variety of jobs too
