Can you case swap a prebuilt pc? My pc is a prebuilt Acer Nitro 50 which is a pretty good pc for the price I got it for. The case is really not the best and is not the medium est case that I would want it to be. I'm thinking of upgrading my 1050 2gb to a 1660 6gb super compact by zotac OR maybe a MSI 1660 gaming X 6gb which is supposedly described as a GTX 1660 TI Chipset with a i5 8400. So my questions are if I can case swap and if I buy a 1660 6gb by zotac will it bottleneck my i5 8400 and if it will be compatible and all smooth to run on.

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read this and help me out on this.

You can case swap most pc's as long as it has normal parts, and for the case of bottlenecking only in a few games, but an i5 8400 should do you good and an i5 should be decent even up to a 2060.

Wait for Nvidia’s “Super” refresh coming up (rumored to be this week). The prices of the existing cards might drop enough for you to get an RTX 2060.
