There's only a sharp pain I felt when my dentist injected the local anesthetic. Other than that, you don't feel a thing. The next day, I just took some Advil and it was fine after that.
From someone who is usually afraid of needles the one for getting a cavity filled isn’t so bad you got nothing to worry about champ
