Might be a dumb idea, but maybe we could have like a 24 hour plugin challenge? All open source, and then we all take a vote on it at the end and pick a winner.

inb4 everyone suggests a plugin they need and scheme for free plugins.

This might sound crazy but I've always had the thought of having something like "Code battles".

Basically, two developers square off each making their own plugin and they use functionalities from their plugin to kill the other player. There would have to be some limitations i/e can't use player.setHhealth or make players invincible etc. But an example could be like teleporting the opponent way high up and then that guy better hope he made something to counter this etc. It's a wild idea and not really practical, but it'd be fun as heck.

If staff hosted a 48/72 hour "plugin jam" with a special name color or something for the winner with a specified theme to prevent people submitting pre-made plugins it would really help out the entire community by letting everyone compete along with giving out free code to learn from. You should make a suggestion.
