Change General Discussion to Off-Topic (Or add a seperate sub-forum on its own).

So a lot of shitty random threads are always made in the general discussion sub-forum made by post farmers, examples are dating related threads, some guy showing off his shitty soundcloud rap, appraisals, talking about sports and IRL hobbies, etc.

My suggestion is that we either change General Discussion to Off-Topic or create a seperate subforum for that matter.

You could argue that, "If this is implemented, users will not be able to post threads in the general discussion where it helps the community or if they need advice on something". Theres already other parts of General Discussion where you can post these types of threads like "Advice & Assistance". With this idea, it will try to get threads more categorized.

Leave your thoughts. If you disagree, please explain why.

the subforums for general discussion will be the new general disc.

Pretty sure there already was an "off-topic" section, but it was removed/merged with "general discussion" because people were posting their random shit in general discussion anyway.

Yep. We had two separate subforums but it wasn't really worth moderating the posts in both of them to ensure that only off-topic posts would be in the offtopic forum, so we just decided to merge them.
