"1.3.2 Do not spam the reports/chat-reports/support ticket system with the same reason or content."

I know this has been denied (I believe) in the past, but I really see no reason why valid reports/chat-reports (let's say I report 20 people in 5 minutes for asking for a vouch copy) should be warnable for the user attempting to help the site and punish those who aren't capable of reading the rules.

As stated in a few other threads (http://www.mc-market.org/threads/231222/ and http://www.mc-market.org/threads/224150/) I feel as though the "reports/chat-reports" part should be removed entirely.

Best regards,

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Afaik you can't edit suggestions posts, so reserving a post is useless.

also, From my time as staff, I remember several instances of this spamming that were simply put a pain in the fucking ass.
Say, if a user is breaking a rule in chat not once, but multiple times in a short amount of time. Reporting multiple iterations of breaking the same rule will do nothing, since they can only get a warning once per 'instance' of that rule being broken.

If someone broke the advertisement limit 5 times in an hour, they won't get 5 warnings for it. that'd be stupid, they'd be immediately suspended, which would come across as ridiculously harsh.
For this reason, rule 1.3.2 exists.
Of course, it's debatable what would constitute 'spamming' the report system. That's not something I can make a judgement on, since it's been a year since I was last a member of the staff team.

This is still true today.

The rule is in place to prevent people from reporting one person 100 times in a row, which moderators must then go through manually.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
