Chargeback Tips

Alright, so this is the first chargeback I have ever had happen to me. It is from a server donation in JULY and the server is no longer up because it was not successful. How do I win this?

T.O.S make a random ass TOS saying you can't chargeback under no circumstances if you do you will never be able to donate to another minecraft server again.

To be honest, you deserve a chargeback if the server was shut down after a user bought a perk. I'm not saying you won't win if you do fight it (Chargebacks are usually hard to win anyways, your ToS won't be shit to them most of the time), but morally you should just refund it.

Got more information. This dude is 19 and he is charging back to pay for college tuition.. It's $80. What the fuck is wrong with people

Hold on a bit, might just be me but $80 is quite a bit of money. Newb and I both stated that you should just refund it because, well, he paid for a rank, and you took it away by closing the server, sorta your fault.
I understand, you probably forgot about the transaction, and it is alot of money, but think of it in his eyes, you CLOSED the server, a server which he paid for a rank on, and can't access anymore, and even worse he has to get some cash for college so he decides to get his money back for something he should have done a while ago. I do think it's sorta a dick move, but I'd be mad too if I paid $80 and the server shuts down.

Go ahead and try to fight it, but if I were you I would just refund it tbh, if you lose there is an extra $20 fee too.

Why would I have to pay a fee on something that I lose? This happened 5 months ago, I think he is just going through his paypal charging back everything he can because he is a dick.
