Charity Fundraiser Hosting Sponsorship

Hello MCM,


I’m writing this post today in hope of someone thinking that this is a great idea and decides to grant us a sponsorship.
I have a previous thread explaining the idea and concept behind my fundraising idea and I am glad to say we got a huge amount of support and a bunch of winner reactions which gave me and hohos a huge push in motivation and allowed us to get the discord setup and buy logo's etc out of our own pocket. This sponsorship will allow us to get this project started and actually make a change

The server:

The server will be a charity server, and you may now ask what that is, and let me explain it for you.

The idea of the server is that each month is going to be dedicated to a different charity, such as make a wish, save the children, cancer research etc. The owners will get completely nothing and 85% of the server earnings would go to the charity of that month, while the rest will go into running and maintaining the server. The payouts to charities and payouts will be public for everyone to see.


Why we’re making this thread today:

The owners paid for a domain and logos, from their own pocket and we’re now looking for a dedicated server sponsorship to help the server get on its feet.

By giving us this sponsorship, then you’re helping us give back to the ones in need, but you will also be made public as a sponsor because you’re giving us the recognition needed to raise funds for the various charities.

Are you sure that you need a dedicated server to start with? It'll be hard to find a company which is willed to loose a lot of money, especially if you consider that most hosts here just resell OVH and such and it would not make much sense for them.

Rather you should request a VPS or MC Sponsorship, which is for sure enough for this project.

We would like to do a full test as we are gathering a lot of support and we just want to feel the optimised server from the start so we know how many it will be able to handle as lets say we do it on a vps to start off with and the setup is fine and then for odd reason when it is moved onto the dedi before release it just messes up and causes trouble then we would have to redo the whole setup so I think its best to get the dedi from the start and also keep all our webhosting,bot hosting and server hosting on one machine with databases etc to reduce the amount of problems

You have any specifications for this dedicated server in mind? For example, location, CPU, RAM and Storage?

A decently powerful dedi with 32GB RAM and a powerful cpu located in US
