I had the idea of a charity Minecraft server that donations all went to charity except for like 20% which covered staff wages and server costs.

Not sure if anyone would do it just thought it could gain some media publicity.

I was actually thinking of making this kind of server.
To bad I don't have the capital/money to start it up :(

Yeah I guess.
Just don't.
It is Minecraft.
Start acquiring donations in real life, and actually do shit.
You could say the same about any type of server donations surely? Too many young people are making money and not in a safe way. The EULA is on track to take a lot of people down 1 by 1.

No one pays staff, unless they are professionals, and we would have no proof 20% is going to charity.

Well you would because with a charity you register your percentages. You don't "need" proof you just need to know it would be going to charity. If this project was taken on they would have to become a charity licence holder.

That's not right.
Problem tho
If you put 50000000 into a charity.
only like 1000 goes towards the charity, the rest go towards the founder, team e.t.c

Different charities have different percentages of where the money goes to.

Well that is false, I work for Oxfam UK and we personally send around 80-90% to support those vulnerable within the poorest countries on the planet.
