Chatbox 15 minute link delay for Advertising

Hello,

There are so many people that post links for advertising their businesses, products, accounts, etc. There is a rule for it to be every 15 minutes you can advertise a thread, etc. So I thought if you could add a 15 minute posting link delay in Chatbox, this would avoid breaking this rule (at least by the link posting way). This would be very helpful and prevent people from breaking the rule.

but what for when you are discussing something (rarely lol), and you want to paste an image url?

It is already against the rules, and I havent noticed a significant problem with this to warrant it.

Don't take the job from the moderators. With all due respect, this idea is horrible, really. There are so many reasons one could possibly need to put a link in chat, why put the effort into a system that will cause more effort from the community, because they will type . stuff / like / this

Agreed. Reminds me of minecraft server spam filters.

1. I say something in chat.
2. I wanna say something else but the 3 second cooldown hasn't ended.
3. It tells me I have 1.5 seconds left.
4. I wait this and then say what I was going to say.
5. It prevents me from saying it because I said the exact same message two times ( even tho the first one didn't go in chat )
6. I wait 3 more seconds and say "."
7. I finally say what I wanted to say after another 3 seconds.

If you have a server with a chat filter like this please remove it, it happens all the time and is annoying as heck.
( This has nothing to do with it but I guess worth mentioning. )
