Hello, I'm looking to re-sell Minecraft server hosting (and maybe others) using a dedicated server, My budget is ~30 - 40ish dollars, i'm not looking for a specific specification, but my ideal dedicated server would be a E5-1630 with
16gb ram
~250gb storage (maybe less)
ddos protection
1 (or 2) ip(s)
and running linux

I'd say due to the fact that most vps(es) (that i know at least) focus on storage and processor power instead of ram, but i'm actually fine if it's either dedicated or vps

We don’t offer direct 16GB plans as the large majority of people do not need that much, but we’d be happy to create a custom plan within your price range for you if you can get in contact with us.

Hetzner is cheaper and has been around longer.

Hetzner is not a good service provider. I've experienced tons of issues with their servers, and their network is generally atrocious. I don't know if they changed anything over the past 1-2 years, but from my experiences, they're terrible and should never be used in production. Their peering and upstream providers are equally shit, they obviously oversell their network and it cripples network performance.



You can get a OVHUS/OVH VPS with these specifications, roughly for how much you're wanting to purchase it for. Otherwise, just get a SoYouStart server

In all honesty I’ve had better experience with the hetzner network compared to Ovh personally. Edit: they also increased there infrastructure last year tremendously I’ve never had random downtime with hetzner either.
