Hello There,

I spotted this thread in my feed and thought i'd give a quick opinion here. From taking a quick peek at this users Github its clear to see that he codes all his bots in NodeJS. However, saying that he codes them is another story. Every bot on his Github contains a command copy pasted from another one. Each bot is single file and of poor quality. The following snippet of code in the screenshot I found to be in Every bot on his Github along with a few other commands such as his new and close.

Each command that is seen is identical and every bot has the exact same code for the commands. I wasn't going to click on that Github link as from his name I thought he was going to be a Java Developer but theres always a good laugh when you see a formatting mistake on Github from copy pasting a command too much. I have seen developers that straight up steal from others and rob there work blind and make worse quality bots than this. However, they still have the JS knowledge to split up bots to multifile when there is more than 1 command.

Copy/paste formatting isn't necessary at all. Just because I copy/paste my own code isn't a bad thing at all. Single file (index.js) is a more inefficient system, yes, and this is something I am working on (filesync).

Alright, if it isn't true then I take back what I said. Regardless, copy+pasting is just an easier method for coding, and I don't really care much for looks.

Dectom, I feel like I need to say that because of our "not great" past, I am not trying to start an argument I am simply sharing my opinion.
As it seems like from your reputation, you used to stole code at 2016 then you became what you are today (a great bot developer) and stopped stealing code. But you still need to remember that you started developing from stealing code as well.
I don't feel like it's fair that you talk like that to a developer that as it seems like started coding recently (less than a year ago).
My point is that everyone needs to start somewhere, some people start by stealing code, this isn't always a bad thing but something to learn from.

I agree. I did not steal code; I often do use code found in YouTube videos because I look for more efficient ways to produce my code.

I never accused the user of stealing code. I stated that all his commands are copy pasted. My message was used as a warning for people as to the quality of what they would be getting. All of his commands were identical.

Okay, from looking at your mute command it looks as though you literally copied TheSourceCode's code from his YouTube video identically. I don't have time to be sure word for word, but that's what It looks.

If this is the case, I use(d) him too. I learnt 75% of my bot development from him but I worked with it a lot, to change it, implement my own code, so on and so forth. So if you did copy it, just try to change it up a bit, add your own things.

Not hating, just trying to help.
