WHY DIDNT I SEE THIS SOONER! I have been using ggservers for 12$ a month with dedicated IP when I could have been using wulfhosting for 12$ a month with 6GB OF RAM + free add ons n stuff. I wish I had actually used McM before using the host

Just talked to one of the staff people and they said something about a power surge and that in a week it would work again
Do you really believe a power surge would cause a MySQL service to not work. Unless their MySQL is hosted on a separate server and that server is in a closet.
Pretty much, but it is no different for web hosting/VPS/Dedicated. There will always be many people who are expecting "diamonds in garbage cans". But there are some customers out there that will still be willing to pay some extra bucks as long the service is good overall value.
