Your core plugin probably uses BizarreAlex's scoreboard API. I've had an issue like that a while ago when I used Glaedr.

Not really.. I would have to locate where one item is in another core (Ex: Faction Name) which could take a long time if I don't happen to know the plugin

That is just why you ask them what core they have or you open it with JD-Gui and look at the faction system classes, but I can understand where you are coming from.

I know it might count as a necro, but that happens because kraken uses color codes to define fake players with blank names in the tablist, as well as the hcf core uses fake players to define the entries in the sidebar, and for example the '&e&a&0' color code is used by the 3rd-4th entry of the scoreboard to define a fake player, and it's prefix and suffix are 'Gamemode >> Creative', and since the tablist and the sidebar use the same scoreboard (not using the same would end up either the tab or the scoreboard disappearing), meaning that the fake player '&e&a&0' prefix and suffix globally applies both on the tab and the sidebar.
