I don't think so I contacted support, they where just installing SSL that's all.

Well thing is if you go on the website now it has SSL certificates so....

Who said it didn't already have one?
A website isn't down because it has no ssl certificate, you simply refresh and it'll update.

if the connection was slow, it wasn't SSL.

I literally mean it could have been down while they were installing. Ever thought maybe they were maybe switching hosting servers to one that supported SSL for free?

Buy a VPS, apply for a NPL. Ez money
