You're not the brightest, are you? Think of it like a building.

The HTML is the structure of the building. All of the metal poles, the wires, etc. Then you add the CSS, the wall plaster, wallpaper, bricks, etc. Without HTML, nothing functions. You're pretty special, I'll give you that.
