Honestly, COPPA is really really dumb, You made a risk to be on the internet, We all make choices, I understand its to not let Families info to get leaked but come on now. Why let your son/daughter be on a market in the first place? Thats there risk, We all make choices in life. That was something they choosen. 2nd lots of people can lie about there age on here, Honestly im 17 and before i placed 23 because i thought i needed to be 18 and + to join, Many members are intelligent now and will just switch there age and do the same thing i did. I seen lots of Members profiles that says 23,54,29,45 Of course those members are lying about there age. So really there are alot of little kids evading the site right now as we speak, But how will staff know that? They can't unless they admit it. And i know alot of Members wont admit it. Cake did but i honestly dont know why... i don't know if he knew he was getting banned or something. But COPPA is dumb and it always will be. This has been implemented in the 2000 and staff is just adding it now? Nothing has happened before then. Even if the law did contact MCM i am very sure they will warn them. The staff could have simply lied saying "i had no idea there was a COPPA TOS we will enforce right now" Just to save there butts if the site ever had to get suspended or some what. This honestly is the worst TOS im ashamed this is added. Just a quick note. I am not blaming staff for this. I am blaming the law. But i do think it was silly to add this as my examples made alittle sense.

A 7 year old doesn't know the full extent of the internet. To them it's just their favorite game (Club Penguin, Slither.io, idfk).
It's kind of harsh that you expect a 7 year old to know and understand the full dangers of the internet. They can't.

And I used 7, as a 7 year old will still fall under the COPPA rules, and I've seen 7 year olds on forums before -- it's worrying.

No some other kid, I don't think he uses this site but he has a YouTube channel and etc. The stupid kid literally posted basically proof of him accessing a 11 year olds youtube channel without consent and basically made that 11 year old cry and then he posted it all on his channel. The site can adopt the american rules if they want, you can be on mars but you have to follow site rules.

The website is hosted in the US, therefore, we must follow US law. It doesn't particularly matter what country you are from.

Just lie about your age if you are under 13. It's not that hard. You do it every time you watch porn so how is this any different? Actually, I probably didn't watch any until I was 13 so maybe not the best advice...Yeah, if a large portion of the site is actually under 13, which I believe by a lot of the dumb shit they say, ban them all. Site would be better without them. In fact, just ban anyone who is complaining about this, if they were over 13 they wouldn't care.
