Hey guys! I've been doing a lot of spigot plugin development and have decided to try out forge. Here's one of many mods to come. I called this Chroma Chat as it allows you to set the color of the chat to your liking :)

I'll also be hosting a Christmas giveaway and much more coming very shortly. It'd mean a lot if you could like the video and if you want to be extra special a sub is always much appreciated :)

Hey D3mon,
I'd just like to say great work, I actually had a similar idea to this that I was going to make but looks like you've beat me to it, and done a wonderful job.

Have you ever thought of doing a rainbow feature? Where the chat would breathe through all the set colors rather than being one static color?

Regardless, awesome mod, wish you the best.
Yeah, I can go ahead and give it a try. Do you mean that when you type something it will create a rainbow effect?

In a sense yes. If you've seen current forge mods such as "Keystrokes" or something similar, there is one or multiple out there that offer a rainbow feature so the colors are on a cycle simple going through each one. Although this was just an idea I had and wasn't a priority nor something I thought about in large detail, I'm not actually sure how well it'd look if the chat had a rainbow feature.

Although, depending on how much time you actually wanted to put into this there is a possibility there could be different modes/settings for a rainbow chat feature, such as for chat that you're currently typing to be only rainbow, the rest to be static. An option for the whole chat to be rotating through the color scheme, or just for example user tags such as [Owner] as displayed in your video.

Like I said, I didn't give this idea much thought and was just something that I went "Oh yeah, that might be cool" and it got pushed into the back of my head until I saw this thread.
Haha, yeah my friend Canelex showed me the Forge API. I'll go ahead and talk to him to see if this is possible as i'm still relatively new to the Forge API.
