Hi! We are looking for a passionate individual who is skilled at managing online communities. ChunkMC is a decent sized server with over 2,500 members on discord and 30-60 players online on average. If you can help us grow, engage and create an unique experience for our community then this is the place to be.

About the role
As the SMP Manager, you’ll oversee the smooth running of our server, manage the community, and help foster a welcoming and fun environment. Whether it's organizing events, resolving disputes, or bringing fresh ideas to the table, your work will shape the heart of our SMP!

Responsibilities

• Community Management:
  • Interact with players, moderate chats, and uphold community guidelines.
  • Manage Discord channels and keep players updated on server news.
• Event Planning:
  • Organize engaging in-game events, contests, and tournaments.
  • Coordinate seasonal updates and themed activities.
• Server Operations:
  • Monitor server performance and coordinate with technical staff for any issues.
  • Ensure player satisfaction by responding to feedback and resolving disputes.
• Growth and Engagement:
  • Develop strategies to grow the server’s player base.
  • Create social media posts or announcements to promote the server.

What We’re Looking For​

• Experience: Prior experience managing a Minecraft server or a similar community is preferred.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity: Ability to think outside the box for events and community engagement.
• Leadership: Be proactive, dependable, and capable of managing a team of moderators or staff.
• Technical Familiarity (preferred): Basic knowledge of Minecraft plugins, mods, and server settings.
