Say an account has been inactive for the last 2 years for example Professor1 give them a 30 day warning and if they dont for example click agree. if they dont click agree then there account name will be randomly be regenerated eg. BlueHamster324 and the name is up for grabs or for people who are banned 7 days after they get banned there name becomes available for new accounts to take it.

Reason for thread:
Beacuse theres loads of cool names out there on MCM and most of them are taken and people who may want them cant get them.

No, wouldn't be fair to those who got their name, then went inactive & left the community.

There's a system like this already that exists for Supreme members. They can request inactive or banned member's names, although there is a strict guideline for that.

Maybe for banned users, sure. But, people can go inactive for years and return, so it's not fair to them if you take their name.

Seems pretty fair to me. If a user chooses to not use mc-market anymore, That's their choice. And like this guy said in his statement; an email notification which must be acknowledged within a certain timeframe, would be best for this because then people still have the chance to keep the name.

There are forums I have not been logged into in years. However, I still want to be able to do that, if I so desire - and I want my name to represent me. I believe that "first come, first serve" should apply (at least for inactivity). For banned users, it's a different story though.

I swear this is already a feature, I changed my name from ile. to ile by creating a support ticket because the user made the account in 2016 and left the day he made the account, and i got it? im not sure if you mean something else.
