Clean up appraisals (Subforums / New tag colors)

I want appraisals to have sub forums. Simple as it is. Main things that should be put are:

Art
Accounts
Development
Other
Build
Server
Domain

EDIT: I know there are prefixes but I don't think they are actually that effective.

These are the main things appraised (mc accounts especially) and I think it would be both more clean and more appraisals would be made since there are specific sections. Most graphic design appraisals are made in the design place and not appraisals (this also applies to everything but accounts pretty much), so I think this would be good for it as well.

You could also put colors for the tags in front so people can tell the difference, currently appraisals are looking disgusting so you could use these colors.

Art - Red
Accounts - Gray
Development - Blue
Other - Orange
Build - Green
Server - Yellow
Domain - Black

Specifically for accounts, because we would be able to limit who can post there.
I hate seeing non-premium members posting appraisals for their accounts as a cheeky way of advertising that they have it and are interested in selling.

I'm not sure there's enough traffic to that section to warrant all that many subforums, but hey, maybe making more subforums for it will also increase "postability" if that were to be a word, and encourage more appraisal threads, since it'd get more exposure from those interested.

I don't think that more subforums would promote postability. How does splitting users between 5 subforums get you more exposure? To get the most exposure with your thread you need to have as many people as possible in your forum, so why split it?

Doge usually handles mc acc appraisals, but what if he saw a thread about building under an acc thread he wanted to give feedback on? If they were completely different forums he wouldn't be given that opportunity.

Another reason I like prefixes is because you can decide whether you would like to view all appraisal threads, or just your own particular type, making it the best of both worlds.

Fair point, but the current appraisal section is visual cluster imo. You could at least make the prefixes have different colors

I don't see how adding more colours would reduce the cluster, but what colours did you have in mind?

I don't think that creating subforums would be the best idea as it would create a whole bunch of navigational problems and would just be confusing, on the other hand I do like the idea of making colors for prefix's just so that it's more appealing to the eye and a bit easier to go through and navigate.

I'm pretty sure the only reason for this is the amount of accounts that get appraised. However, in this specific case I agree. It doesnt have to be subforums, but it should be SOMETHING that allows us to appraise the specific things we're good at without having to scroll 3 pages down.
At the VERY LEAST let us sort by tags, or give us tags to click on at the top of the forum, instead of having to find a specific appraisals thread. I'm no good at appraising accounts, yet there's so many of those that builds, art and others get drowned out

Yeah, it would be nice to have it a little more organized. If we want more exposure, we should probably try to get it moved to Minecraft Marketplace or Minecraft Services, where more people are. Nice suggestion.
