This is the ultimate truth of this thread.
We need to get the word out. If chocolates dying won't get people to care, nothing ever will.
People have been dying for thousands of years, too. Thus, it makes no difference wether a person speeds up the process by eating unhealthy, getting fat, and suffering a heart attack, right? Of course it does! We can't just remove ourselves from the equation!
I'll admit, this is a nice consolation prize, but there are bigger downsides too. For example, Hypercanes (though to be fair, it would need to get at least 10 degrees hotter before those become plausible, so we should be fine).
Honestly, let's think here. We're humans, we have very little impact over the climate. I think you guys give humans a bit too much credit.

Is everyone going to ignore the fact that Russia has been dumping radioactive waste into water sources that lead to the Arctic Ocean? That radioactive waste is hot if you didn't know, which melts ice? WOW! Very cool! Most of the reason why climate change is happening is because of stupid Russia and other countries' mistakes. Use your big brains.
I encourage everyone in this thread to do some actual research because this whole "well it isn't affecting me so whatever" or "but whos saying it's real???" thing is insanity. Adopting renewables is economically better, will create jobs, and has the nice little side effect of keeping our godforsaken planet inhabitable. We can't just run away from this stuff. We need to deal with it. Suggesting that because the climate has changed before means we should just leave it alone is crazy. Imagine if we said diseases were part of "natural life" and we just had to let people die. Just because it is / has been natural (which this level of climate change is not, fyi), it doesn't mean we don't try to fight it. As humans we get faced with unbelievable odds all the time, why do you want to give up this time???

Renewable energy is worse for the environment, is more expensive, and is less efficient. Solar panels are horrible. Wind turbines are horrible.

All of you who are warning about Climate change need to get off your computers. They're made from hazardous materials and use electricity which is created by dirty materials.
Climate changing naturally is one thing, man-made pollution is another.
Air pollution from cars, factories, etc. have been increasing over the years and with the recent Amazon fires and fewer trees, the pollution acts as a greenhouse effect with the Sun and the Earth. The heat from the Sun gets trapped within Earths atmosphere slowly heating it up. Very similar to an actual greenhouse.
I remember when green house gasses were seen as a good thing. My my, how little people remember.
They are for plants, but not on an entire planet. I felt like I was gonna melt when I went to Japan this summer, don't wanna go through that twice lol
