This server made 16k and its starting bid was only 350. 300 for a setup....
That server had a 0 playerbase as they shutdown in November 2017 so clearly, it was 350 for the setup only and not the playerbase as the playerbase was non existent...

To get a solid playerbase, you'd be looking to spend significantly more than $100.
