If you could get up to $45, you can get quality dedicated host from SoYouStart.Hello,
So I am looking into purchasing a cheap dedicated server for now for a Minecraft server, I have seen a lot which seem decent for around $30-35, obviously they are not the best.
Which dedicated server would you recommend from this website for a Minecraft server or possibly a bungee and server?

I have been with a Minecraft host for a while and would like to try out dedicated servers, I have never had one before but I am aware of setting them up with Ubuntu/Linux etc. I believe with a dedicated server I can have my Minecraft server and the Bungeecord server on the same dedi, correct? It's fairly hard to find decent dedicated servers for that price.
I suggest going with a regular Minecraft host. If you're still 100% sure that you'd like a dedicated server Kimsufi would probably be your best go.

Yes, but I'd personally still recommend going with a regular Minecraft host as the hassle usually isn't worth it.I have been with a Minecraft host for a while and would like to try out dedicated servers, I have never had one before but I am aware of setting them up with Ubuntu/Linux etc. I believe with a dedicated server I can have my Minecraft server and the Bungeecord server on the same dedi, correct?
Alright, I am still considering it at the moment, just I feel I would like to get more experienced with dedicated servers as I have used a Minecraft host for quite a while now. On Kimsufi, do you have any specific one you'd recommend?Yes, but I'd personally still recommend going with a regular Minecraft host as the hassle usually isn't worth it.
That depends. In my case, I use my dedi to host my server, website, and teamspeak. I also host for streamers - so the box isn't being used 5% and the rest sitting there. Also, say you have a network with 5+ servers with a really good playerbase, official hosts can get super expensive. Guardian hosting, for example, is $48 for 16GB. Also, if I'm not mistaken, that's shared hosting. For $8 more you can have a 32GB dedicated server not being used by anyone else, along with free mysql, ftp, etc. Just something to consider, everyone has their preferences.Yes, but I'd personally still recommend going with a regular Minecraft host as the hassle usually isn't worth it.
KS-3B looks decent for price of $22.Alright, I am still considering it at the moment, just I feel I would like to get more experienced with dedicated servers as I have used a Minecraft host for quite a while now. On Kimsufi, do you have any specific one you'd recommend?

Alright, yeah, the one you are currently using seems to be a good one, I'd love to go with that one but I'd be needing DDoS protection so I'm kind of stuck on what to do/what to go with at the moment.[DOUBLEPOST=1469221216][/DOUBLEPOST]Like Ajdin said. Kimsufi is a good option. However their dedis are a little low spec. I currently have this one: https://www.nocix.net/cart/?id=179 works very well, however it doesnt have DDoS protection, which could be a problem. If you want protection go with Kimsufi, if you think you wont need it, go with Nocix.
Yeah, 16GB would probably do, but I'd love to have a 32GB so I could have more servers running etc but I'm not sure if there is any below $40 with decent specs. That depends. Definitely. I just wanted to point out that for $8 more than guardian's most expensive plan, you get twice GB, no shared hosting, and free things that other hosts charge for at lower packages, such as mysql and teamspeak. If you ever do get a dedi and need help setting one up, my dev would be more than happy to do itAlright, yeah, the one you are currently using seems to be a good one, I'd love to go with that one but I'd be needing DDoS protection so I'm kind of stuck on what to do/what to go with at the moment.[DOUBLEPOST=1469221216][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'd definitely like to run Teamspeak on the dedi too.
Not a bad price for that to be honest... I'm just not sure how it would run, say I have a Minecraft Server as well as a Bungee which is what I plan to do on it as of now. I'm not the best with specs of them etc.[DOUBLEPOST=1469221437][/DOUBLEPOST]KS-3B looks decent for price of $22.

Alright, I'll consider that one on a list when I'm making a conclusion. I just don't want massive TPS drops etc, I'll be optimising the server and using PaperSpigot etc to try and get the best performance but as I said I don't want lag spikes or TPS drops etc, would I expect to not experience much of that with that dedi? The host has 16gb ram which should be enough to run a small network and it also have i5 which is semi good. Plus 2tb memory. It would just run fine.
Not sure, it really depends on ur player base on the server.Alright, I'll consider that one on a list when I'm making a conclusion. I don't expect it to be massive, at maximum 50-75 or so but if it was to get 100+ I would probably upgrade it to a more expensive one but it's not worth investing more at the moment. Not sure, it really depends on ur player base on the server.
Depends on how many players, how much ram the plugins are using (if you have plugins that use excessive ammounts for unnecessary things, remove them). One thing to take into account is that if you do a "grand opening" and there's a lot of players on at once, if the chunks in the world have not been loaded, you'll experience quite a bit of lag while your players load them for the first time. Other than that, you shouldn't really notice any lag/tps drops.Alright, I'll consider that one on a list when I'm making a conclusion. I'm pretty sure the host won't handle the player base.I don't expect it to be massive, at maximum 50-75 or so but if it was to get 100+ I would probably upgrade it to a more expensive one but it's not worth investing more at the moment.
