I am dying out laughing at this, this is MINECRAFT Server. Do you know the amount of competition? I have no idea why people still poor money into this shit.

Minecraft is still profitable.

Yeah barely, my friend said he paid $500 for advertising last month and only made $50. There are at least 500+ live servers in each category. And ATLEAST 10 new servers made each week "trying" to be profitable. Its just a money pool in which people that do builds, plugins, etc... come out on top.

Well im sorry for your friend. However ive found servers profitable with my experience.

Well no, I was using him as an example. It has happened to tens of hundreds of other people. In your experience it may have pulled through, but you do understand that only 1 out of 5 owners will make a profit. All of the rest will either go in debt or break even.

This is somehow true because there's a ton of kids buying servers and trying to be successful "imma make profit out of this, you'll see!" thats what they say and then you barely see them online. But fact is, if you don't quit and do the best for community on your server you're most likely going to succed. I've recently made a completely new server (19th of December 2016) and already got a steady 8-20 playerbase the same way as I did with my Network. Looks like taking care of the community is key to success (i know I've said that twice)

Minecraft servers are actually very profitable, I'm not going to say the amounts, but we made more than 12 times the amount we used to start our server [DOUBLEPOST=1483725140][/DOUBLEPOST]
