Ubuntu 18.04 is not production ready yet, much less for virtualization. What software are you using for virtualization?

I think he means what software, I'm guessing libvirt. If you are using that, what flags are you using to start/install the VM?
I used the following script to install: sudo apt install qemu qemu-kvm libvirt-bin bridge-utils virt-manager

My suggestion would be to remove the qemu package and install the virtinst package.
Don't blame me if anything goes wrong pls[DOUBLEPOST=1532116290][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, I highly suggest using Ubuntu 16.04 or CentOS 7.
