Closing a limited paypal account/unlinking a card?

So recently I accidently made the mistake of trying to upgrade my paypal account to a business account because im an idiot, I can now not revert the changes and my paypal account is stuck on limited until I fill out forms to do with my "business" which doesnt exist, what do I do? Is it possible to close my account? can I unlink the card on the account? help please?

You can call PayPal Customer Service and we will help you change your account from a Business to a Premier account. Here's how:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click Contact Us at the bottom of the page.
3. Click Call us.

You can also send us an email with your request to change your account type. Here’s how:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click Contact Us at the bottom of the page.
3. Click Email us.

You must log in to your account to make the request since that is more secure. Please be sure to include all the details of the account type change in your email. We will contact you once the account type is changed.

If possible, I highly recommend calling them instead. Usually emailing can take days and calling can be a matter of 10+ minutes. However, it is up to you and your urgency to gain access to your account Good luck!

Not at all, most the time when I call PayPal it's someone from some other country anyways.(Not that that matters...) They definitely wouldn't say anything as long as your PayPal is in good standing and basically, legit.

ok, Will they walk me through the process of doing it or will they do it for me? since my account is limited the ways of changing it back wont really work if they try and explain it to me, and do i say its limited or do I leave that part out if they try and fix it for me.

They will almost most definitely do it for you. Just explain to them the situation.
