https://www.time4vps.eu/pricing/ setup a SFTP server on there, and you should be good to go. You will hardly need to install anything onto it. You can close all ports but 22, and that should be more than secure enough. Without the SSH / SFTP login, no one else would have access.[DOUBLEPOST=1470698224][/DOUBLEPOST]Note: make sure to click on high volume, since the SSD VPS's dont have much space.

SSH keys would also be more ideal.

Hello Sir, I can offer you a server with 16GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600MHz, an AMD Quad Core 2.5GHz CPU, 64GB SSD + 500GB HDD + 1 x IPv4 Address with unlimited bandwidth, all hosted on my private network, can setup IP authentication to the server as well as SSH keys. This is a custom machine I used to use as a NAS server, still runs great, can add an additional 500GB HDD and create a RAID 1 array for redundancy. This would be $15/month. (Hosted In Las Vegas, NV, USA)
Do you have a hosting site? Seems quite a good deal.

I currently do not, just offering services hosted from my home data-center, servers have 100Mbit connection ports, that is all I can afford currently, I hope that is enough. All servers are ran on 10Gbps CAT6 cables to our 1Gbps switches to ensure no failures in the wiring itself.

I'd be willing to install any OS you'd like, but for anything that costs $ like a Windows Server 2012 R2 license key, you'd need to provide your own license key for it. I also have everything powered by Backup UPS systems and a solar array on my roof in case of power outage.
Nice, is 16GB the largest you go? Might contact you in future.

Hello all,
I am currently in need of a Cloud Hosting Provider. I am in need of one to store 500GB of legal files, yes, its a god damn lot and I need it very secure and private. This is very important.

Thanks!

You may be most interested in private cloud hosting in which you can reap both the security of a baremetal box while still having the "advantages" of a public cloud servicing.

Honestly though at least for now I would rent or even colocate your gears if possible as private clouds are at a premium...

That for $15 a month. That is a really good deal for 16GB and what your offering.
