My name is Arcev.
This project named "Club Arc" is a realization of my creative abilities and passion to create a truly great community within Minecraft.
NOTE: These are not paid positions, but rather offering to see who would like to bbe apart of this project!
Club Arc is a passion project as I enjoy the community and the game itself for 5+ years. Making servers sparks joy in me as I can vision a good experience I can create for others.
As such with experience, I accumulated a large understanding of Minecraft server infrastructure and its workings. In other words, I can make servers run well and optimized. I can also create server add-ons named "plugins" to expand the functionality of a server by modifying its mechanics.
Club Arc would consist of many different types of play. An example of something that is a gamemode called "Practice", a PvP gamemode, where people fight in arena style in 1v1s, Hardcore Factions style with kits, or Party vs Party. A contrasting gamemode would be a more casual PvE approach to things. Something like normal Minecraft Survival there would be a precreated open world with scripted NPCs and Player levels with rarity based loot drops.
I am hoping to transfer or creating a Hypixel server ASAP on release.
Starting on development and such is important, I will be using Club Arc as sort of a staging ground for the structure the Hypixel server might have. Im very excited to provide this to all of you that enjoy Minecraft.
In order to make Club Arc the best it can be I need people that are trustworthy, knowledgeable individuals that are willing to apply for a TEAM position.
This would extend into a future Hytale team and its technicalities.
You would get access to:
- Administrative Powers (Kick,Ban,Mute,etc)
- Insider Hub (Development updates)
- QA Tester status (Test features before they are released)
- A community you can take part in
Club Arc has seen previous uptime.
Club Arc was online in-game and in website form earlier this year before March. Hosting became an issue I had to tackle as my process to providing funds to the servers became complicated. I live in a area where it takes 30 mins to the nearest bank or deposit ATM. I couldn't provide a payment to the server hosting fast enough and the in-game server hosting expired. I plan to rebuild lost time with this post.
A basis of a community is already created with a discord where people can post anything from Feedback to memes and enjoy themselves. A moderated community is important for me as well to maintain a well suited environment for younger members.
Whats the plan for Club Arc?
The plan is with the goal above to start the process of looking for developers and create a full fledged development team dedicated to making Club Arc fun and exciting for Veteran and New Players alike. Along with that, the goal of this project is to provide enough uptime with servers to create a community and allow them to share feedback to make new gamemodes and improve existing ones.
Another part of the plan for Club Arc is to expand its community to a new game called Hytale. This will be a flexible Minecraft-esque game where you can create servers and mod the game to your liking. This is of course looking into the far future.
The starting point for in-game content would be 2 gamemodes to start. One with PvP mechanics as a focus and another focused on creativity and exploration. 2 examples would be Practice and Skyblock or open world RPG. One step at a time!
Donors and Contributors get access to an exclusive Insider Hub discord category where pre-release content is provided and updates on the server are posted there first before announcements. They can also provide feedback as they see fit on said content.
What content have you done and is playable?
Server isn't online.
As to development-wise on the in-game itself I have the following projects invested in my IDE here:
Practice is the most refined at the moment so it would most likely be implemented first and fastest if the community wanted it. Another would be "UHC" Ultra Hardcore where people face off in randomly generated worlds of certain size and face off with no natural health generation. It is a popular gamemode, and Club Arc could see this gamemode as soon as they wanted it because it is mostly refined.
You can also see a couple of other projects in my IDE projects that I have looked into, like KitMap and HCF. There is also more gamemodes that could come from Club Arc and haven't ended to innovate the content Club Arc would have.
For those wondering what is/isn't forked, its been too long to remember some of the projects original names as they have been modified to fit my naming conventions.
A part of Club Arc has been into making a RPG based world with custom quests, PvE areas, defined PvP, Dungeons, Raids, and more.
