Hey guys.

I am a 16 year old boy from England that has been coding with the bukkit API for 2.5 years.

I want to be a computer science teacher / games programmer as my dream job and I would love to start my teaching here. I currently have one pupil who really enjoys and is inspired by java just like I was when I was younger.

I charge 20$ per hour and we can work on anything (the basics to the hardest/most complex code).

I also offer group lessons which cost 10$ per person. 2 people is classed as a group to me up to an unlimited amount.

If you already do bukkit but want help with a certain section I can also give you a session on that.

Add me on skype if your interested: twitchtvswaggg

Ask any questions about my lessons on this thread, I will get back to you asap!

Thanks,
Tom

Idk if there's a maket for it, but I think $25 is to much.

If it was Cheeper, I'd consider buying
Its usually $10/hr (my lessons and tons of other people) 25$ is pretty steep but your thread your prices :p
I see where your coming from here, but teaching is pretty hard work + that's less than minimum wage (in England anyway).

IPv4: How much would you be willing to pay considering you'll be taught by a highly experienced bukkit developer?

Your going to have to prove that you can indeed write quality, efficient code, or I doubt anyone will want to pay $25 an hour.

Well I owned the most popular kit PvP server at one time (that I coded) called LightPvP. That's all I really have to show :p. I could do like an example plugin to buyers of my lessons to prove I am an advanced bukkit coder?

Would definitely buy if it was cheaper $10-15 is good
what do you think about 20$? Add me on Skype - we can work something out : twitchtvswaggg

IMO $15/hour would be good, but you should do a package type of thing (Buy 5 hours, and instead of it being $75, have it be like $60)
Hmm I like this idea:). Add me on skype and we could discuss some kind of deal :D

Do you have a GitHub account?
Yes but I have never used it as if a client wants the source I just zip it and send it to them.

Update to all:
Lessons now cost 20$ for a private but now I am introducing group sessions! Group sessions only cost 10$ each per lesson with full support. You can organize a group session with one friend up to a unlimited amount. What do you all think of that?

If you are interested then please contact me on skype: twitchtvswaggg

I would probably use this if it was cheaper,
An the minimum wage in egland is £5/hour not 25$/hour.

Ok so I got it wrong, but even though it's £0.70p more than minimum wage teaching is harder than working in McDonalds... I am offering 10$ lessons as stated above with personal support when needed. These are group sessions though. What do you think of this? My private lessons cost 20$ which is far cheaper than the majority of private lessons (my friends math tutoring costs £25/hour which is like 44$ or something).

I'm saying $10 was below minimum wage which I found out was wrong by £0.70. I'm offering $10 for group lessons (2 or more) per hour so that might interest you and a friend?

I don't think my friends want to learn this,
Can you just hook me up with some stranger?
And what will you be teaching in general.

Yes I think I could find you others to have sessions with :). The first lesson will be me teaching you which program to install and we will create a simple plugin that just sends the player a message just to give people an idea of the basic methods that you will use with every plugin you make.

Add me on skype so we can start in the near future.

That is a terrible lesson plan. If he just jumps into writing plugins he will be clueless as to what is happening and will end up blindly writing code because someone told him to without actually understanding it.
