You might want to mention the development language that you want to learn.

I also HIGHLY suggest not paying someone to teach you to code, because their style might be different from other peoples, it might be out-dated, it could have plenty of flaws and just want your money.

YouTube and java docs are created literally for people to learn, and are free and open to the public.

Buy a book, if you don't want to do that, there's a udemy recommended course for java(I assume that's what you need considering you mentioned the eclipse integrated development environment), and later on if you want to learn spigot development don't watch youtube channels, just read the api snippets they provide there and read the documentation, and then you should be good.

Cheers.

Wouldn't recommend going with Udemy, 90% of the time the courses are rubbish and don't provide any value, there's better free alternatives, such as the Java Docs, or TheNewBoston Java Tutorials on YouTube: I would recommend buying books from well-known Java developers, or watching TheNewBoston on YouTube as he has been the starting source for many great Java developers I know today.

EDIT: Though I would recommend learning by yourself, play around with Java, see what stuff do, refer to the Java docs and break things and fix them, that's the best way to learn I believe. :)

Thank you I just bought 3 books for a deal of $237 pounds

Isn't YouTube technically "people teaching people to code", which you just advised against lol

Okay well like, I specifically mean't to pay someone to teach you to code would be their perspective only, when YouTube would provide MULTIPLE different ways to learn.

I feel like you don't have to pay a penny to learn how to code efficiently. Sure, you can spend a lot of money on a course or video tutorials, but that all can be learned without paying. The only thing I think is worth putting money into is books. Books are one of the most useful things to learn Java or any programming language in general, you can even find some free "Java for dummies" books online which are really worth reading if you've got the time. I'd recommend watching TheNewBoston's tutorials, read the Java documentation, and don't worry about not knowing what something means because nowadays you have so much information on the internet that it's fairly easy to find out.
Thank you I have purchased 3 books updated too 2018

Just my 2 cents on this, I agree with many of the others here. I learned from a Java for Dummies 9 in 1 book, along with a YouTube series from TheNewBoston (someone already linked his videos above). But just make sure that what you're learning can be applied to you (formatting, IDE, etc). Don't just copy and paste code from the description of the video. Make sure you understand it, and if you don't, go back, watch it, or look it up and see if you find any information there.

Everyone has a different style of learning and there are so many different free tutorials out there. While you may be looking for a one on one tutoring, I am not sure how realistic or practical that is in the scope of the internet. If you do choose to watch videos or read books, the other comments pretty much summarize everything. Just be careful or who you are watching. And make sure you don't try and learn Bukkit/Spigot without having any knowledge of Java. It's the literal foundation, and if you don't understand it, just make sure you understand a good chunk of the language before you try and learn APIs and how to implement it elsewhere.
