It's leather armor that changes its color
I'll sell it for 5$
Permissions: there is none its for OP'S only. Because players could just get infinite leather armor
Which really doesn't matter but still.

with how animated textures work, they are one image w/ frames below each thing making it one long image. He just did that, slapped a rainbow gradient on it, and bam, this is the result

No he didn't, he changed the RGB value by a small amount every couple ticks or something.

What do you think a gradient is? lmao the armor is a texture pack and it is one still image of many armors put together. Tick=frame on a texture. Works the same way w/ gif's

The way you described it is not how it occurs in-game nor in the code.

I make resource packs, that is how animated textures work. it is not a fully animated thing it is a long still image and sometimes w/ a properties file.

Gahndi He's right about the long still image. Minecraft renders animated frames by going through separate frames on a long image.

This plugin animates the armor regardless of your texture pack. I'm not sure if you know this but developing a plugin is very different from simply creating a resource pack.
