Colorblind fix

Hello,

I have colorblindness (red & green) and also have a hard time between green and yellow. I play minecraft and there is a mode called teamfights where 40+ players fight eachother.

I mix the nametags up because of the colors and end up trying to kill my own team. Would it be possible to create an application or something like that, that would change my nametag color?

The server you play on should ideally have an accessibility mode if you're playing with that many players. Your first port of call should be to ask there and/or make a suggestion, but otherwise, it is entirely possible to make a client-side mod that alters name tags.

In fact, a lot of players who also make simple client side mods (they're usually starting out) on forge can be found at Hypixel (forums) -- you'll have more luck there requesting someone who can do this for you if it's not already a thing.

I play on lunar client and I do not want to switch from this. Would it be possible to make an application outside of lunar that i launch every time i open my pc and it changes the colors of the nametags. (I will be forwarding this on hypixel forums aswell)

Changing the colors on certain objects and blocks should be possible via a custom texture pack. Though I’m unsure about changing the name tag colors as that would need to be done on the server side but I could change the armor color or other to help you better see the other players.

I make packs myself so that is not a problem

It's not possible to change nametag colors within a texturepack.
Since you want to use Lunar, I don't see another way than making a suggestion on the server like Ally said.

Would it be possible to change the listed colors through windows or another application? I wouldnt mind other colors in the game being weird, as long as the nametags are different. I would rather not change hue though as this messes everything up. I’m talking about somehow being able to change the yellow color to purple etc
