I am advertising my services for community management. As the title says, I also have experience with web development and design work that will included with my community management services (if needed).
Who am I?
My name is Jeff. I am a 24 year old male, living in the US, and have been managing communities for 5-10 years online. I currently work in a corporate environment, meaning I can professionally and respectfully conduct business with you and your community.
What types of communities my services are offered for?
Although I do have experience working with private server communities, my services will not be targeted towards Minecraft servers. My services are directly targeted towards forum community owners, service team owners, marketplace community owners, and programming related communities. My goal is to bring my expertise in a professional setting to your community, so you do not have to worry about adding a sense of professionalism.. Also, do not be discouraged at the size of your community. I am flexible with the size of communities, big or small, I am willing to work alongside you. Whether it's building from the ground up or if your community has hundreds of thousands of members, I will be able to offer my services to you and continue to help you whatever it may be.
Portfolio
I have worked with forum communities over the years, so some of them may not be available to check out or are still operating. I worked in numerous communities from programming help forums, white hat hacking communities, and other private servers communities ranging from a low profile Helper position all the way up to Administration/Management positions. I know how to operate and manage a community from every staff position, so I know the expectations and qualifications of every position possible.
Webflake is a programming forum community for the forum software, Invision Power Boards or IPB/IPS for short. I started out as a member assisting members with forum software related questions. I quickly more into a Support role, where I continued to help members with programming and forum software help. Later, I moved into a Moderator position, where I helped moderate the forums, assist with answering tickets, and acted as someone who approved pending software downloads, much like BBB. After 3 years of being a Moderator, I decided it was my time to step down and pursue other adventures.
Vouchley is a freelancer review community, where freelancers can collect reviews or vouches from their clients, displaying it all in one place. I started as a regular member at the beginning of the project, where I actively participated in community discussion and offered my suggestions for future planning on the project. A couple months later, I applied for the Support Team role, where I was accepted. In this role, I was responsible for answering tickets and support requests by community members. I quickly became the Community Lead, where I am responsible for starting and monitoring discussions with community members, continue assisting with support tickets, and actively contribute to the future of the site. I am still currently involved in this project, however it is only part time.
Payment
I will only be allowed to contribute between 15-20 hours weekly, so my fee may not be very high, allowing small to large communities being able to use my services. Depending on the intensity of my duties as apart of my management position, the fee for my services may come between $200-$400 bi-weekly, depending on the size of your community, what responsibilities and tasks I will have, and the number of hours that will be contributed to your community.
