Hello there!
Firstly, to start this off my name is Luminxsity; although commonly known as Liv.
I am currently looking for a position in community management, as you could probably see in the title.
Why Community Management?
I have always loved managing things; however I'm not exactly the best at 'managing' my homework and getting it to school on time if you know what I mean
Anyways, I have chosen this concept of management as I have always loved being involved with communities and organizing things such as: Events, Staff Teams, Forums, Documents etc. This is the kind of stuff I am deeply passionate about and I am also willing to learn more as I venture through different communities meeting new people and developing new and interesting skills.
Age?
Sadly, I feel the need to include this here as in the past people have had issues with it and some have openly expressed that I am not 'fit' for positions likes these due to my age. Realistically, you probably wouldn't hire someone like me as a manager, no matter how skilled they could be or mature they are. It's just not a good idea to do something as ludicrous as that; however this is an online matter, business or whatever you would prefer to call it. People pull off some amazing things when given a computer, a keyboard and WIFI access and I'm most certain that I do not need to prove that to you as you most likely have witnessed it for yourself.
A Little Autobiography:
In this section, I will try to cover most things about myself that hasn't been included in this thread already.
So as you have already seen, my name is Liv. My name is really Olivia but people have just decided to call me Liv to shorten it. Age removed due to information leaks upon servers, if you'd like to know specifically please private message me. I'd like to think of myself as an unusual girl, not necessarily 'normal' whilst on the topic I also tend to be 'optimistic' and constantly trying to understand people from their point of views.
I mainly play 3 different instruments such as; The Guitar, Piano and Drums. I have always been involved with music, my life has always revolved around it ever since I was 3 years old, banging pots and pans with spoons and forks. In the future I hope to do well in Music as it has always been a passion throughout the entirety of my childhood, perhaps going on to perform in front of audiences or recording in the comfort of my home.
I play multiple sports and I am extremely athletic; I play Netball (I understand if you don't know what this is, not many people do.), Rugby, Football (Soccer), Field Events (like High Jump, Shot Put, Discus and Sprints), Hockey and lastly Swimming. The reason I am noting this down is due to the amount of training's and dedication I put into these sports which eat up a decent amount of my time; However I am beginning my summer break soon which suspends all of my athletic events and training's for 2 months giving me ample time to complete majority of the work I plan to do.

I will only list the servers I feel that have been beneficial towards this concept. I have worked on a lot more servers and communities but I feel it would be pointless listing them.
PrimeMC is where I had mainly began my experience in Minecraft Staffing. I had applied there on November 12th and accepted on November 13th, I went into staffing here knowing absolutely nothing and completely clueless that I would end up staying there for 9 months... 9 extraordinary months.
I learned so much on PrimeMC, I made so many friends that I love with my entire heart and I wouldn't trade anything at all for what I have experienced here on this server. I met my best friend here who still remains with me today supporting me through everything and I am thankful & so entirely grateful.
However, not everything has been exactly 'positive'. I have had multiple falling out's with people, I have made many mistakes which have not yet been forgiven. When I had resigned I had contributed to an act of regret and lead me to falling on the bad side of the owner and certain people of the server. The reason I am explaining this is due to the fact that we all have faults, we make mistakes and are awfully flawed. I also wanted to show you this as I want to prove that I am an honest person.
On Prime, I began as a Helper. I had remained this position for roughly 3 weeks, after the administration team had taken my work ethics and habits into account they had promoted me to a Moderator, in which I had also remained this rank for 2 months. I handled more difficult situations then I was used to, and since I was extremely anti-social it taught me to break open my shell a little bit and actually talk to people. After 2 well-spent months I had been up for another promotion to Senior Moderator, this rank had changed everything for me. I had developed better social skills, a passion for writing, the ability to identify every scenario imaginable and the beginning passion for Management. Whilst I was a Senior Moderator, I was expected to help Administrators out with community work, such as coming up with original content, events (Forum, Teamspeak, In game etc.), document writing etc. and I absolutely fell in love with it.
Despite the unhappy ending, I am still grateful I fell in love with this server. Or really, I wouldn't be writing this thread right now.

On September 9th, I had applied on the Arkham Network in hopes that I would be able to adapt to a new community, make new friends and develop further upon my newly-founded passions. I am not able to link my application due the system Arkham has, so I deeply apologize for that.
I began as a Helper here, as you normally would when accepted; However I wasn't necessary considered a 'normal' helper. I became close with many of the admins and showed them that I was capable of doing more things then what Helpers would usually be expected to be able to do. I wrote up many docs and was included in a lot of stuff that was mainly admin+, I went above and beyond with writing and helping out as much as I could in all aspects. My assigned area majority of the time was Suggestions, here I would go through Player Suggestions and sort through them and decide whether they were worthy of being implemented into the network; I had also succored with the creation of in-game economies, shop values etc.
This section of experience is me showcasing that I am able to come up with original content to implement into a server I would work for.

KingdomCraft was a newly founded network, it had begun small and didn't really take off anywhere huge. A close friend of mine had decided to start up a server and had recruited me as a Moderator at first; however due to the lack of development staff I had then been assigned the position 'Forums Dev' after informing him that I had beginner experience at Web Developing. I had taken a few online classes for SASS / SCSS , HTML & CSS. He had then said that this was good enough and was willing to let me learn as I went on to doing more work regarding forums.
I enjoyed this position as time went on. I had become knowledgeable individual when it came to the use of Xenforo, CSS & HTML. This had also turned out to become another one of my passions and I still enjoy it up to this day; however I have been putting it off for a while and have not been practicing it as much as I'd like to due to other commitments.

Zerania has been one of the most recent servers I've worked on; although difficult times have situated reocurringly, I have enjoyed my time here. Zerania is mainly where I had developed skills and lessons on how to manage stubborness of certain people. It wasn't particularaly easy trying to manage this team, but it taught me that not everyone is flexible and I tried my hardest to cooperate with this but ended up getting frustrated a lot.
Due to the inactivty of many other administrators, I had taken on vast amounts of work by myself. Hopefully this shows to you that I am worthy of independancy, as I have always been alone and I try not to count on everybody else. So I am willing to do everything myself; although at times if I find myself uncapable of doing a task I will ask for advice & assistance.
On Zerania I had managed mainly document writing, community related work, managing the staff team and attempting at coming up with new and exciting updates in game. Predominantly, Zerania has been a tough job but to say the least I have very much enjoyed it and everything I have learned.

Other Stuff - HTML5, CSS, Xenforo
Xenforo
As mentioned earlier in previous experiences; when I began learning Xenforo I had very little knowledge to build upon when it came to XF. Eventually I had fallen in love with the concepts based around XF, I then decided to go in depth with my skills to try and overcome many challenges I had faced when managing forums. I had done vast amounts of research, studying the different types of allowed coding (HTML & CSS) and just trialing and erroring really.
Only recently I have been trying to learn how to setup an actual Xenforo website rather then just doing AdminCP work, Thanks to a close friend (you know who you are
). If I decide to become more fluent and efficient at this process then I would imagine I'd be able to set one up for anybody and would evidently become apart of my service. HTML5 & CSS
I have a very basic understanding of these coding languages; although I have been learning them for quite sometime I have been putting it off for a while as mentioned earlier, due to other commitments. I do have a tendency to have sudden outbursts and motivation to want to learn it again and become better every once and a while but they dont necessarily last long.
I can do simple stuff with CSS & HTML, designing a web page with basic elements, styling / formatting texts, creating galleries etc. Nothing too fancy, but enough to get a project started.
