Hello and welcome to my thread.
I'm Sinkas and I'm currently looking to work as a community manager at an already established server with a stable work environment and a growing player-base. My strong point is helping servers maintain and expand their player-base rather than getting newly founded serves on the spotlight. I like organizing giveaways and events, supporting players both in-game and on the server's forums, and ensuring a smooth experience for the community.
About Me:
I'm currently 20 years old and at my 3rd year at university studying for a bachelor degree at business administration and management. I'm a very organizing individual and I like getting things ready down to the last detail. I'm innovative and I like creating content for the community's amusement. I'm very active and almost always reachable throughout the day both while I'm at home and away.
Being an undergraduate for a BA degree means that I have a lot of knowledge around management, finance, marketing, competitive advantage -terms that a lot of people around here seem to mention without knowing a thing about them.
As far as previous experience is concerned, I could go on and use fancy titles such as "CFO" and "General Manager" or "CEO" but it would be meaningless. I have been involved a little bit more on the serious side with only 2 servers.
The first one being ClashMc, which was a Clash of Clans server that never launched as far as I know. And the second was PrevailPots, which had a 100+ players beta test run and then a long hiatus during which I parted ways with them on good terms. Besides these 2 servers, I've made some contacts -along with some pocket money- in the community by middle-manning some deals between freelancers and servers. Anything from graphics, to plugins, to builds, I've middle-manned.
Qualifications
What I'm looking for:
As I said above, I'm looking for an already established server which is standing on its feet both in term of player-base and finance and is looking to expand their staff team and quite possibly their server. I'm not going to join a server that's struggling financially or a server that hasn't launched yet or hasn't acquired a stable player-base of 50+ players. Not only because I wouldn't like to work in that setting, but also because I wouldn't have much to offer and you'd be wasting your money on me.
Contact:
If what you read above appealed to you and you want to discuss things, such as what tasks I can take up and how much I charge, please do not hesitate to send me a private message here on McMarket.
Please do not contact me on Skype without having made contact through a PM first.
Looking forward to talking with you!
