About me!

Acceed

30

Arizona, MST

Name history
So apparently this is a big thing to mention: I am Sinbad from PrimeMC, Acceed of DecimatePvp and of Mineheroes. The old manager who managed Prime for a few years long ago. I changed my IGN to something I liked better since then is all. Can prove I am Sinbad, it's in my proof for working there.
Currently seeking a Server/Community manager or paid administrator, forum manager or staff manager position on a network preferably. I cannot do any system administration things, nothing relating to console or otherwise unless you're willing to show me how to do them. As of this moment, I don't offer anything system admin relative, nor plugin configuring, nor anything dev related either. I can read some of the config files but I cannot code them, repeat I cannot code anything. I can handle many things but nothing developer related, I cannot code, I cannot configure plugins. But I can if one is willing to teach me, I'm always open to learning new things.

I offer great staff management, post writing, buycraft support and replying to the emails, promoting and demoting staff from the players on your server. Being very active with your players/staff members. Forwarding found bugs to where they go and so on. As for advertising, I now have YouTube contacts.

Things owners like to know:

Time I can dedicate per week: 40 hours a week, this is combined with Discord support for players, in game and on forums. Sometimes this varies due to how busy my offline job is.
Forum/discord/slack time is a near constant unless driving or asleep basically.

Duties I can perform: Staff management, forum management, promoting/demoting staff as needed. Training new staff on how to act with players. Buycraft support/general donation support. External social media posts. Such as Twitter and so on if that is part of the server’s social media. Player/staff conflict resolution. Staff/staff conflict resolution.

Extra talents: Also I’m generally good with simple conversations and lending an ear for those who need someone to talk to. I know factions, kitpvp, skyblock, prison. I’m good with MRL, askyblock, zperms, pex, core protect, hawkeye, numerous other plugins. I’m not a dev, but I am more than willing to always learn more. I’m loyal, hard working, and very professional at all times, I’ve never lost my cool no matter what happens. I'd love to work for a large server, I'm always looking for more to do, anything I can do to help the server out and so on. I always look for something to do that's productive.

Just a little personal information about me. I play MMOS in my spare time when I'm not working, I do have a YT but it's not that great, just starting out on some of the games I play and so forth. I'm a cat lover, don't get me started about cats or I'll post my little ones. I take care of my family and am always working, I can't stand having nothing to do so I always go find things to do. I like chatting a lot, I tend to write way too much in posts though my formatting isn't the best that it could be, always looking for ways to improve on things I do. I could go on and on about myself but I can always do that later.

Also, I am currently the manager of CandyClash, owned by Spirit who owns Viper and owned Decimate that is now CandyClash. That is my primary server to work on, and it will get attention first of course, however! This does not mean that other servers I'm hired to work on will get neglected,I simply don't operate like that. Just that Decimate will get my attention first thing when I wake up is all and those players come first. Also as a little extra note, I can set up a whole Xenforo forums, perms and nodes, and Discord as well as getting bots configured to keep things clean and tidy.
pDVY8jY.png

My terms: I will not accept payments under 200$ a month, I will have control over the staff team as I always have done so. I will expect a community manager/manager tag on forums, in game and on discord. I will not join any server that uses Skype. Only Slack or Discord, Skype is unacceptable. I will be allowed to work on more than one server. Communication with the owners is a must.
pDVY8jY.png

My Talents: I'm very good with buycraft, plugins for the most part, not the best with them but I'm decent with those. I'm no dev, I can't code anything though. Managing a staff team. As I'm a hotel manager offline, I'm very talented with getting more staff and spreading them out across the server. I'm always able to be reached and help the players out, or fellow staff team. I bring with me a lot of ideas and stuff to expand servers and open them up to other ideas. I'm not afraid of being doxxed or ddosed, simply move on, factions is toxic, that's simply how it is. I won't be scared off, I'm firm and know how to tell players no to things.

My availability: I’m able to contribute 8+ hours a day, even more than that depending on how work goes, of course offline job does have to come first. Days off work I can contribute both days off work unless I have to go back in for some reason or another. I always have my laptop with me though and my phone. I can contribute these hours even with my job due to hotels going through slow seasons and such, there's not a whole lot to do during said slow seasons. So I'm able to be at work and on my laptop very easily and active on the server during work and while not at work.

My history!:

It all started with R2 gaming, for those who don’t know it’s a huge pay to win MMO gaming community with plenty of games. I worked as one of their staff for about three years, on Crystal Saga, Broken realm, League of Angels and Yiten. Staff on R2 were called veteran players. My duties on R2 were as follows:

Look for hackers, yes people did hack on those games. Get rid of them once caught hacking.

Answer player questions of course, and guide new players onto having fun. Telling players who wish to purchase things on how to go about doing so. Reporting area crashes to the higher staff team and getting bug issues to them as well.

Onto the next job I had online, PrimeMc

pDVY8jY.png

I was with Prime for well over a year, I designed many documents to help the staff do their job, and made things more laid out for the owner. My duties on Prime are as follows.

Managing the staff team - Finding players to bring in as helpers, teaching them what they need to know as to what they should punish for and what they shouldn’t.

Promotions and demotions, demoting the helpers that failed the trial, and finding new ones. I organized staff meetings and such every two weeks, it helped many of the staff rather than having them read written words all the time. As some people learn and retain information if they hear it.

Taking care of all the donation issues for PrimeMC and MineagePvp, Prime’s owner asked me to do Mineage as well so I did, as he saw I was really good at it.

Also taking care of the forums, I’m good with xenforo, perm groups and such. And nodes, that sort of thing, I’m not for the whole web hosting thing though, but I can learn.

Getting bug issues with plugins/setups/builds and so on to the system admin.

Time for proof of some of the things I did there, it’s not much granted, but it’s a bit. One is from before the forums reset, the other ones are self explanatory. I do treat staff members like adults as it is sorta a job, they have expectations to meet, and someone to answer to if they mess up. It's a learning experience for them and everyone in the community. Everything stays professional and doesn't go beyond that for any reason.

Second server I worked on: Shaded

Position held: Community Manager

Duties: Main page posts, promoting and demoting staff as needed, handling disputes with staff and players, assisting the owner in smaller tasks. Basically the same things as done on Prime.

Some things proving I took care of that server for a while, starting from April till August

Next one would be mineheroes.net as paid administrator.

Duties: Work with the other admins in staff management, promotions, demotions. Buycraft support, bug support, player support in griefs and so on. Rolling back griefs, when buycraft has error price, check the paypal to see if it went through and if it did, put the perk on with the player.

Reason for leaving: Offline work became too hectic to contribute the time needed for such a large network.

pDVY8jY.png

Next would be on Hyteria as manager under the name Medissa. Duties were the same as previous servers, proof of being there is as follows. I bought an alt to use and named it Medissa, proof of ownership can be provided if needed.

Reason for leaving: The owner did not pay me for my work, also he shut the server down as it was failing.

pDVY8jY.png

Another one I have worked on is Ayrial. The duties are the same as the other servers, buycraft, staff management and general support. It's a factions server. Here's the proof to working there for the past five months. It was recently sold and I decided to depart due to a number of reasons before it was sold. The owners went inactive due to exams and didn't set up a plan to keep the server going when I was more than capable of taking care of it for a few months and directing the developer. So I resigned due to this.
pDVY8jY.png

I am currently manager of DecimatePvP, my duties are that of what is expected of a regular staff member, and everything a manager does also. Promotions and demotions of staff, re arranging the entire team pretty much to make it work better. Handling all bugs being forwarded to the owner and dev, eliminating staff abuse of commands and players. Creating events for players in game and on discord.

The list of vouches from previous thread, spruced this one up so it’s better and all that.

It’s the whole album, more proof of having done work is included there, also some of the vouches.

Also here’s the link to the old thread for anything I missed and the vouches there.

Contacting me: Post here, pm me, post your discord or pm it to me and we can talk, however you'd like, or you can contact me on my discord, leave me a pm and I'll gladly give it to you. When added, I kindly request you add in a message of the server, the position you'd like to discuss, and perhaps a list of duties you expect done and if you'd be so kind as to set a starting pay to discuss. I'm really negotiable regarding pay. I won’t rather not accept below 500$ a month for my time, the more offered is of course better. I plan to work for the money and server as it is, so just toss a number and we can go from there, though of course if it's too low I won't accept it. Another thing, I would like a server already up and running and has a semi stable player-base. I have a discord, I will not use skype for any reason anymore, feel free to message me on the forums however to inquire about my discord. Now before you freak out about my price, do bear in mind all I offer.

Thank you for reading my thread and your interest in hiring me. Hope to talk to you soon.

(P.S this thread will be updated and altered as needed, if typos are spotted, let me know so I can fix them, thank you again.)

Update: I do have Youtube contacts as well.

Wazez always needs an egirl on the staff team. The new Admin he replaced you with is dense. She even said herself she isn't a "pvp related staff" like how did she pass the moderator positions then. Anyways just a rant about MineHeroes. Good luck finding a position.
I would go back if asked to, I did like the community, but I had to depart for offline reasons relating to my job. The smaller issues on the server were tolerable, but when work calls, it calls. Thank you for your kind words however.

Never seen your work on any server before, but judging by your experience, the vouches, and the neat looking post, I will vouch. Good luck on finding a position (If you haven't already)

Networks like Hysteria or Prime failed to keep their player base; I don't think that's a job well done.

That's after I left, that's not my problem once I depart. Not being rude, just pointing out the obvious. Hyteria had an owner who didn't pay his developer or manager or anyone for that fact. Why it closed down, he didn't pay anyone. People don't work for free in most cases. I know I sure don't. And I even gave the guy three months to pay up and I still worked, but no he was one of the many who simply don't pay their dues and keep their promises.

You're not the only one who spent a lot of money there. And we can talk about it.

You're asking nothing less than a hundred dollars a month but are so picky Skype is unacceptable?

Portfolio was very well written, looks good.
Skype is highly unprofessional for a staff team to use. Bots or not, plus it's an overall horrible program now a days. Yes I am picky because I don't want to add a bunch of servers that got nowhere to my resume, I like to stick with servers I pick to work on, and therefore having standards is a must. I understand that many owners detest such high standards but I like to think of myself as a high quality manager that's easy to get along with and I can be negotiated with. In time I'll find that perfect server that matches what I'm looking for, thank you for your reply and have a good day.
