Hi, my name is Symonne, I’m looking a paid position of server manager or community manager. I bring a lot to the table, I'm great with Buycraft also xenforo.

I’ve worked on a couple servers and one rather large one. The large one is PrimeMC. I designed many documents for the helpers and other staff to use to make things easier, hand book for rules that all staff should follow. I was the server manager/community manager for PrimeMc for over the past year and a couple months. I joined them back in November of 2014 and have been with them until about January. The next one was ShadedGG, that was from April until recently. The next one was on mineheroes.net as administrator until 12/26/17

Things I would expect to be in the duties assigned to me.
Promoting and demoting helpers as needed, promoting them to moderator if they meet the criteria for handling more duties.

Front page announcements on the forums.

Buycraft support, donation problems and so on.

Team meetings, usually once a month or as needed.

General administrator duties as well. (Banning players, player reports, ban appeals and so on)

Events for players on a basis.

External social media posts. Such as Twitter and so on.

About me!

Symonne

Hotel manager.

Currently seeking a Server/Community manager position on a network preferably, though negotiable. I cannot do any system administration things, nothing relating to console or otherwise unless you're willing to show me how to do them. As of this moment, I don't offer anything system admin relative, nor plugin configuring, nor anything dev related either. I can handle many things but nothing developer related, I cannot code, I cannot configure plugins. But I can if one is willing to teach me, I'm always open to learning new things.

I offer great staff management, post writing, buycraft support and replying to the emails, promoting and demoting staff from the players on your server. Being very active with your players/staff members. Forwarding found bugs to where they go and so on. As for advertising, I don't have any contacts with any YouTubers, though I'm quite willing to go try to contact a few for the advertising needs of your server.

Just a little personal information about me. I play MMOS in my spare time when I'm not working, I do have a YT but it's not that great, just starting out on some of the games I play and so forth. I'm a cat lover, don't get me started about cats or I'll post my little ones. I take care of my family and am always working, I can't stand having nothing to do so I always go find things to do. I like chatting a lot, I tend to write way too much in posts though my formatting isn't the best that it could be, always looking for ways to improve on things I do. I could go on and on about myself but I can always do that later.

◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘

My Talents: I'm very good with buycraft, plugins for the most part, not the best with them but I'm decent with those. I'm no dev, I can't code anything though. Managing a staff team. As I'm a hotel manager offline, I'm very talented with getting more staff and spreading them out across the server. I'm always able to be reached and help the players out, or fellow staff team. I bring with me a lot of ideas and stuff to expand servers and open them up to other ideas.

My availability: I’m able to contribute 8+ hours a day, even more than that depending on how work goes, of course offline job does have to come first. Days off work I can contribute both days off work unless I have to go back in for some reason or another. I always have my laptop with me though and my phone. I can contribute these hours even with my job due to hotels going through slow seasons and such, there's not a whole lot to do during said slow seasons. So I'm able to be at work and on my laptop very easily and active on the server during work and while not at work.

◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘

My history!:

It all started with R2 gaming, for those who don’t know it’s a huge pay to win MMO gaming community with plenty of games. I worked as one of their staff for about three years, on Crystal Saga, Broken realm, League of Angels and Yiten. Staff on R2 were called veteran players. My duties on R2 were as follows:

Look for hackers, yes people did hack on those games. Get rid of them once caught hacking.

Answer player questions of course, and guide new players onto having fun. Telling players who wish to purchase things on how to go about doing so. Reporting area crashes to the higher staff team and getting bug issues to them as well.

Onto the next job I had online, PrimeMc

◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘

I was with Prime for well over a year, I designed many documents to help the staff do their job, and made things more laid out for the owner. My duties on Prime are as follows.

Managing the staff team - Finding players to bring in as helpers, teaching them what they need to know as to what they should punish for and what they shouldn’t.

Promotions and demotions, demoting the helpers that failed the trial, and finding new ones. I organized staff meetings and such every two weeks, it helped many of the staff rather than having them read written words all the time. As some people learn and retain information if they hear it.

Taking care of all the donation issues for PrimeMC and MineagePvp, Prime’s owner asked me to do Mineage as well so I did, as he saw I was really good at it.

Also taking care of the forums, I’m good with xenforo, perm groups and such. And nodes, that sort of thing, I’m not for the whole web hosting thing though, but I can learn.

Getting bug issues with plugins/setups/builds and so on to the system admin.

Time for proof of some of the things I did there, it’s not much granted, but it’s a bit. One is from before the forums reset, the other ones are self explanatory. I do treat staff members like adults as it is sorta a job, they have expectations to meet, and someone to answer to if they mess up. It's a learning experience for them and everyone in the community. Everything stays professional and doesn't go beyond that for any reason.

Second server I worked on: Shaded

Position held: Community Manager

Duties: Main page posts, promoting and demoting staff as needed, handling disputes with staff and players, assisting the owner in smaller tasks. Basically the same things as done on Prime.

Some things proving I took care of that server for a while, starting from April till August

◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘
Next one would be mineheroes.net as admin.

Duties: Work with the other admins in staff management, promotions, demotions. Buycraft support, bug support, player support in griefs and so on.

Some things for proof.

◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘

Next would be on Hyteria as manager under the name Medissa. Duties were the same as previous servers, proof of being there is as follows. I bought an alt to use and named it Medissa, proof of ownership can be provided if needed.
◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘
So to wrap this up, yes I would like to be paid for my time. I can also bring a lot of great ideas to make servers better and expand. I know factions, kitpvp, skyblock, prison. I’m good with MRL, askyblock, numerous other plugins. I’m not a dev, but I am more than willing to always learn more. I’m loyal, hard working, and very professional at all times, I’ve never lost my cool no matter what happens. I'd love to work for a large server, I'm always looking for more to do, anything I can do to help the server out and so on. I always look for something to do that's productive.

◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘-◘

Contacting me: Post here, pm me, post your discord or pm it to me and we can talk, however you'd like, or you can contact me on my discord, leave me a pm and I'll gladly give it to you. When added, I kindly request you add in a message of the server, the position you'd like to discuss, and perhaps a list of duties you expect done and if you'd be so kind as to set a starting pay to discuss. I'm really negotiable regarding pay, I would like weekly if possible, but again, really negotiable. I would rather not accept below 100$ a month if possible, the more offered is of course better. I plan to work for the money and server as it is, so just toss a number and we can go from there, though of course if it's too low I won't accept it. Another thing, I would like a server already up and running, or nearly ready to go live. Not one that's just being thought about. Again, I'm laid back and negotiable so if it shows enough promise and you really really plan to launch it and go through with it, drop me a message and we can discuss things. If you'd rather not, that's just fine we can discuss it one by one. I hope to be working with you soon, and thanks for your time!

Honestly, I can't vouch for Symonne enough.

Symonne was an Administrator on the server I'm currently staff on, she was professional, calm and methodical in all her dealings. Quite honestly, I don't think you can find a better Administrator than her.

If you're in need of an Administrator who's professional and can deal with a pretty large player base (1000-2000), then I honestly can't think of a better person.

I vouch for Symonne.

I am staff on a server that she previously has worked for and she was a very helpful admin, she dealt with rule breakers, people who needed assistance and server management she worked very hard at her job and it would be hard to find a better admin than her.

This post is purely to show and explain my disappointment with my contact with Symonne.

User has a lot of vouches and decent portfolio so i contacted her to discuss hiring. For someone who has stated multiple times she wanted paid work only, this user has responded to me only once in nearly a week. She says she can dedicate 8+ hours a day in her thread providing work does not get in the way but fails to even communicate with me in a PM?

Discussions had not even gotten off the ground, I did not even get to say which network or server or even what i wanted out of it. The only contact made was first to ask if she would speak to me on voicecall for 20 minutes as a test to feel the waters, no response so after a day I made it more clear that it is a paid position and again no response.

User has been online multiple times over the past week and again It is disappointing to have the experience i did with such a highly vouched user, especially since this would have been a long term paid position and exactly what the user wanted.
If she decided she didnt like me or my staff team that would be more understandable but we did not even move past first contact.

I hope other have had better luck.
As you can see here, it has almost been a full week and this is all that has transpired

Oh you're right, I have been on, long enough to push one button of up thread, nothing more than that. I've been working, and apologies for not responding to your offer but real life job comes first, sure I could have said that but it didn't occur to me at the time, other than to push one button on the thread and leave everything else until days off work. I was going to respond, but I saw this so I'm asusming the discussion is over. So again, my apologies.

Hey! I'm looking for someone like you to be on the organizing team (most likely working with sponsorships) for a charity event that I'm organizing. If you're interested, please fill out the form (and mention that I posted this in the application)! Or, if you have any questions, feel free to PM me or ask on the thread.

Warm regards! :)

I can tell from the post, but that doesn't mean that people can dedicate themselves to a good cause without pay. I will let them be the judge of this, not you.

No need to be aggressive, I just thought you skipped that part.
