Company Idea - Give Me Your Opinions

I was thinking, when scrolling through the investment and loan section I see a bunch of servers with potential, yet aren't receiving any investments.

What if we created a company with talented individuals ranging from.

• Graphic Designers
• Builders
• Setup Specialists
• Developers
• Marketers

And invested our time/money to make sure the server is up and running, but developed and made by us. In return we'd receive an equity stake in the network, meaning we'd take % amount of the server donations.

Right now this is just up and the air, but in my eyes, I feel like it could work.

how would you make them motivated they expect payment and there isn't a 100% chance that they will be paid back and every single one of them i bet would come up with excuses every day not to work and they will be hooked up with commissions

The owners would personally pay the developers, it's about having the team ready, we'd take the percentage. Also everything would be contract protected.

What, I asked for opinions, not a complete insult..

This is not a setup team it's much more fixed then just another commission.

A server that approaches us has to be something good, and special. Not only would we be paying our developers a monthly fixed price, we'd have lawyers contracting the server we're working with. I don't know if it's just me, but I think this could be huge.

your classified as service team but with a package offering full server setup
and no it's a bad idea in my opinion you'd rarely find people who are able to sign contracts or want to anyways.

Eh, I think servers who are serious would be willing to, I've been approached by multiple.

I doubt that. If you were approached by multiple servers (then I hope you do not mean the 10 playerbase servers) then what are you doing here and not working and securing those servers?

Umm, the problem is that like 60% of the servers will not have more than $200 monthly donations, and when you pay the hosting and etc. you're down to $100. Also, good luck finding someone good that will work and wait his full payment for 6 months or more.

We wouldn’t be handling commission based. Just because we have the same jobs as a service team doesn’t mean we take the same ones. Read the full thread.
