Mhm.So, you resolved the issue?
Well this has happened to me twice now, and in both cases I was allowed to withdraw my money? How come this isn't happening to anyone else?Hey, I had $1600 in my PayPal when they limited it, I couldn't withdraw it or buy anything or send money. I rang them and they said I need proof. However.... You can refund payments in the past 90 days so if you can refund some big payments like I did then ask them to send to your parents account then that's how I got it back. Luckily the payments were for plugins so were large payments like $700 and $500 but if they're smaller amounts like server donations you may have a problem.
Also, my debit card was on that account and now that's blacklisted on PayPal so I cannot use it for any other PayPal accounts if I make a new one.
Anyway, hope this helps and good luck, PayPal is a right B!TCH.
I'm from the UK also - I gave them proof of identity etc.I just told you, it happened to me. It depends where you are, I'm in the UK where the EU has a money laundering law where you can't receive over £2000 GBP (something like that) without providing proof of identity.
I just gave it to them and then they closed my account and let me withdraw my cash. How when you're under 18?
Couldn't you just call your bank, and say you lost your debit card? They should give you a new card with new numbers, so you could get a new PayPal.Also, my debit card was on that account and now that's blacklisted on PayPal so I cannot use it for any other PayPal accounts if I make a new one.
