Hey I wasn't too sure where to post this, if it's in the wrong section please move it.
Basically a year ago I bought a domain I used a fake email and password since it was a sale. I forget about the domain for 6 months and remembered after a while. I wanted to access it but forgot all the information to even get access. I waited 8 months for it to get dropped again and during the last day when it was getting deleted a company snatched it. The company was SnapNames which buys domains and auctions them. I wasn't too familiar with the site so I check it out and it's auctioning my domain that is only of use to me for $19. I didn't want to bid on it because I was hoping if no one bidded after the 3 days it had it would get dropped again. Unfortunately I've waited for it for 3 days and nothing has changed on it. It's set to expire in a year again, i'm guessing they are just going to hold it but I'm not 100% sure.
At this point I'm wondering if they will ever drop the domain or just keep it until someone wants it. I'm not sure if anyone of you guys have had experience with this but if you have, I'd love all the advice I could get.
Should I message them and ask to purchase it for $19 or do you think I should hold off a bit longer incase it does get dropped?
